COVID-19 PRECAUTIONS

Studio Precautions:

  • Class Limits: Classes will be limited to 15 students per class in order to allow for greater physical distancing. Registration and payment online in advance will be required in order to guarantee your spot. If you do not pre-register for a class and drop into the studio, there may not be adequate space for you to attend the class.

  • Cleaning: The studio has been cleaned and sanitized, and will continue to be on a regular basis. Additional cleaning measures will be completed after each class including sanitization of high-touch surfaces.

  • Studio Mats, Props & Equipment: Mats, yoga towels and shower towels are available for rent, and are sanitized between use. Studio props including blocks, straps, blankets and bolsters are now available for use.

  • Adjustments/Assists: Our teachers will not be offering hands on adjustments or assists for the time being.

Student Precautions:

  • Sick? Stay Home: If you are exhibiting any symptoms such as fever, coughing, sneezing, or congestion, have any chronic respiratory conditions, or have been exposed to someone diagnosed with COVID-19 within the last 14 days, please stay home and rest.

  • Come Ready: Think low-touch. If possible, come prepared for class with your yoga clothes already on. Shower at home afterwards. Bring your own full water bottle.

  • Saying Hello: As much as we want to give you the biggest hug ever when you arrive, we can’t. No hugs, kisses, hip bumps, etc. with other students, either.

  • Masks: Masks are strongly recommended in all common areas and in the studio when you are off of your mat.

  • Hand Sanitization: Use of hand sanitizer gel (60% alcohol) provided by the studio is required upon entry into the studio and after the class. Think “Gel in/Gel out”. You must also use the gel—or better yet, wash your hands with soap and hot water for 20 seconds—if you use the restroom or otherwise enter the change rooms.

  • Personal Mats, Props & Equipment: If you bring your mat, it must be clean. You may bring your own props and equipment you need including a yoga towel, face towel, shower towel, blocks, or a strap. Personal bolsters and blankets are not allowed.

  • Personal Belongings: Shoes must be left in a bag on the shoe rack by the door. Purses, murses, clothes, phones, etc. must be contained in a single bag, and distanced from other students’ belongings in the change room. No clothes may be hung in the change rooms or in the mat room. Except for your personal yoga gear, no personal belongings such as purses and phones are allowed in the studio.

  • Good Manners: If you happen to sneeze or cough, please cover your mouth and nose with a tissue or the inside of your elbow (NOT your hand). Do not touch your face, especially your eyes, nose and mouth with your hands.
