Zem Yoga Studio Roma was founded in 2015 and quickly became a thriving community of aspiring Yoga students. We feel a great honor and responsibility in holding this space in which to share the profound lineage of Yoga, and to offer a safe and nurturing environment for your personal practice within a community.
We invite you to experience a variety of styles of yoga, including Vinyasa, Yin, Ashtanga and Hatha Yoga, which we offer in both heated and non-heated temperatures and in English and Italian. We also offer variety of workshops throughout the year by highly skilled teachers from Italy and abroad who come to our studio to connect with our beautiful community.
To support your overall wellness and curiosity, we also offer courses on Meditation, which has been shown to increase your physical health, mental health, and overall well-being, as well as a variety of specially selected services to support your whole being, from mind to body to soul. We've partnered with several practitioners who have a keen interest in supporting our yoga community with profound tools to nourish the body and mind, restore, and bring the body back into balance. The combination of these practices include the benefits of regulating the body’s natural stress response system, increasing mental clarity, creating awareness between thoughts and reactions, strengthening and improving the cardiovascular, organic, endocrine and nervous systems, increasing flexibility, muscle and joint strength and over-all endurance, while detoxifying and cleansing the body, allowing for a deeper sense of peace and a harmonious unity of the body, mind, heart and soul.

Amity has been a student and practitioner of yoga since 2006. She completed her first 200-hour teacher training at Haute Yoga Queen Anne in Seattle, Washington, USA in 2012 and another 200-hour training with Africa Yoga Project in Nairobi, Kenya in 2013. In 2014, she completed Next Generation Yoga’s teacher trainings for 2 – 7 year olds and 7 – 13 year olds, as well as Yoga Behind Bars teacher training for incarcerated men, women and youth. She is a registered member of Yoga Alliance at the 200 hour level. Amity offers a practice inspired by her vinyasa, hatha and Baptiste training, and creates a supportive environment with artful, intuitive and intelligent sequencing.

Danielle has been a dedicated meditator for the last 10 years, and began her physical yoga practice in 2013. Now a dedicated student and practitioner, she has completed over 1000 hours of training in Vinyasa, Ashtanga, Forrest Yoga, Sacred Geometry Vinyasa, Myofascial Release and Pranayama. She is a level 3 Forrest Yoga Teacher and offers a dynamic practice inspired by her key teachers and training. She loves to take her students on a journey through each practice, creating a joyful, transformational and supportive environment.
RYT 500 Certified Hatha Vinyasa Flow, RYT 100 Certified Yin & Certified Bikram Teacher
Francesca began practicing yoga in 1999. She started with kundalini yoga and then moved to more dynamic including Asthanga (at the School of Lino Miele in Rome), Swasthya yoga and Bikram yoga. In 2015 she started to practice yin yoga and discovered a deep love for the practice, which lead to her obtaining her yin certification in 2016. Her classes are open to students of all levels and she pays particular attention to the breath, alignment and precision. In her lessons, she merges the practice of yin yang, movement, and stillness.
RYT 200 Certified Yoga Teacher
Laura Talafer is certified in Vinyasa, Rocket and Hatha Yoga. Her classes include intelligent sequencing with a focus on alignment and room to grow. Her unique physical trait has helped guide her to an all-inclusive and welcoming teaching style. She believes that through yoga, you can tap into your highest physical, spiritual and mental capacity.
RICCARDO DE PAOLIS
RYT500 (800 Certificate IV) Certified Yoga Teacher
Riccardo received his masters degree in Electronic Engineering in 2007, and after 8 years working for a major IT corporation, he decided to change his career. His realized his major passion was in holistic therapies, and pursued training in yoga and therapeutic massage. He now teaches Hatha, Vinyasa, Restorative yoga, Yoga Nidra, Pranayama and Meditation. His vision is to make yoga accessible for everybody, and gives students options during each class, from the easiest ones to the most advanced variations. He believes that yoga is also a moment of joy and fun, in which we are able to facilitate a deeper connection with our own true self.
He loves staying in contact with the nature, go surfing, traveling around the world and creating a positive connection with people and their different cultural background. Diversity and compassion is part of his personal path and for this reason it is also part of each of his classes and treatments. Riccardo has received his E-200 qualification and RYT Continuing Education Provider Qualification, and is also a Mindfulness Based Stress Reduction Teacher.

Titti started practicing yoga when she was seventeen, as therapy for her dancing injuries, when she was living in New York and working as a professional dancer (Martha Graham Dance Company, Elisa Monte...). Her journey with the practice of yoga started then, with an exploration of many styles of yoga from Vinyasa, Jivamukti, Yin, Hatha, Hot and Bikram. When she returned to Italy, she completed the Sivanada Hata yoga teacher training in the ashram of Reith in Tyrol in order to live, practice, meditate as a real yogi and as a teacher she wanted to “go back to the roots of yoga”. She brings to her classes her entire experience both as a dancer and as a yoga student. She truly believes in the movement of the body connected with the breath, she completely trusts the harmony that this two elements can bring to the person who practices. Her classes are full of movement, deep breathing and smiles and her mission is to try to make everyone expand to the best of their possibilities...just following the flow!
